There are 4 different types of wetsuits, all are used for diving in Sydney during the different seasons accross the year. A 3mm suit is great for diving spring to autum, a 5mm suit autum to spring. There are many types and brands, the difference is many in the seals, quality and fit, like everything you get what you pay for. But dont get ripped off. The other two are; a lycra suit to wear under a wet suit or to use in tropical water and a dry suit, this is a specilist suit not for beginers.
